Tawag ng Fatima: 13 de Mayo

Last May 13, 2018, more than 450 Filipinos with their families and foreign friends gathered at Joso Catholic Church for its yearly Santacruzan. This event is to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima.

Fr. Rusni, CC.SS celebrated the mass. After mass, a grand Santacruzan procession started with 25 “sagalas”, a “Reyna Elena” and a lovely image of OL of Fatima. Filipinos from Toride, Tsukuba, Shimodate, Joso, Mito, Oyama, Maebashi, Ota, Koga, with their Brazilian and Sri-Lankan friends happily processed towards the church grounds.

The program continued despite the rain. Sr, Marianita, FI commented on the theme and said that Our Lady of Fatima calls everyone to do C-A-R-E. (C-confession, A-adoration, R-rosary every day and E–eucharist). Thank you, Our Lady of Fatima, for giving us another “Miracle of the Sun”, for not letting the rain spoil the joy of our 2018 Santacruzan!
