COVID-19 Vaccination Information Center for International Citizen

The COVIC call center, which is operated by the nonprofit organization, provides support to foreign nationals who wish to be vaccinated, enabling them to receive vaccinations smoothly. If you receive inquiries from citizens unable to receive vaccinations due to issues such as not being registered as a resident of Japan, you can refer them to COVIC for assistance.

We hope that you will introduce COVIC to the people of your country/region here in Japan and share this information with them. Please feel free to use the attached flyer.

Examples of inquiries

〇 Inquiries regarding vaccinations for individuals who came to Japan on tourist visas, but are unable to return to their country/region due to the pandemic.

〇 Inquiries regarding vaccinations for individuals who came to Japan as international students and changed their status to temporary visitor in preparation for returning to their home country/region, but are unable to return.

*Coordinators will respond to individual consultations in plain Japanese.

*If the caller cannot speak Japanese, they are asked to give the center their name, phone number, and native language. COVIC can then call back at a later time and offer assistance in a foreign language.

*Coordinators who are familiar with answering inquiries from foreign nationals will handle consultations.
