Binge-worthy movies, shows await Kapuso viewers abroad this April!

Here to send a message of hope through meaningful, entertaining content are GMA Network’s international channels – GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV – as they open the month of April with a fresh lineup of series and movies as well as news and documentary programs for its viewers from all over the world.

In observance of the Holy Week beginning April 1, flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV presents a variety of movies to watch out for. Catch “Instant Mommy” starring Eugene Domingo, “Sana Dati” headlined by Lovi Poe, “Above the Clouds” featuring Ruru Madrid, “Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap”, “Sa Pusod ng Dagat”, and “Sonata”.

Set to air on GMA Pinoy TV are CBN Asia’s Tanikala Dramas: “Buyonero,” starring Kristoffer Martin in the life story of Nestor Quilat, who witnessed the tragic death of his parents at a very young age; and “Kublihan” featuring The Crizalyn Macato story, headlined by Barbara Miguel, and her family’s experience during the tragic typhoon Yolanda in 2013.

Enjoy a marathon of entertainment as well as public affairs programs- “Magpakailanman”, “The Atom Araullo Specials”, “Wish Ko Lang”, and “Tadhana” this Holy Week.

Reflect on Jesus’ seven last words via “Siete Palabras” on April 2, Good Friday. Then, catch the “Fiesta: Ang Makulay na Pananampalatayang Pilipino” special from Jesuit Communications this Easter Sunday, April 4.

Also beginning Easter Sunday, GMA Pinoy TV returns to its regular programming where viewers abroad can continue watching new episodes of their favorite shows such as “All-Out Sundays”, “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS)”, “First Yaya”, “Eat Bulaga”, “Wowowin”, “Bubble Gang”, “Tadhana”, “Magpakailanman”, and many more!

Likewise, a new episode of “I Can See you: #Future” is in store for GMA Pinoy TV viewers featuring Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, and Ms. Aiko Melendez, with the special participation of Gabby Eigenmann.

Kapuso abroad should all watch out for the exciting Kapuso drama series that will be airing soon on GMA Pinoy TV: “Nagbabagang Luha” bannered by Glaiza de Castro, Rayver Cruz, Mike Tan, and Ms. Gina Alajar, introducing Claire Castro; “Heartful Café” starring Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose and David Licauco; and the much-awaited tandem of real-life couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos in “Love You Stranger”.

Meanwhile, there is more to life with GMA Life TV as it continues to showcase a premium mix of Filipino lifestyle with a diverse array of program genres.

Putting the spotlight on the many picturesque spots in the Philippines for those who miss traveling is “Staycation Weekend Specials: North Luzon Road Trip.” Step into the shoes of a tourist as you visit awesome places such as Bulacan and Tarlac (April 3), Aurora and Sagada (April 10),  Subic and Clark (April 17), and Zambales and Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (April 24).

Finally, third international channel GMA News TV stays true to its commitment in delivering credible news and impactful documentaries in this month’s programming.

On Maundy Thursday (April 1), watch out for the reruns of “Pamana: Saving Our Heritage,” a documentary by Kara David, Mariz Umali, and Raffy Tima; the two-part special of I Juander’s Iloilo-Guimaras episode; and the travel special “Summer Squad Goals” featuring Kapuso artists David Licauco, Ken Chan, Rita Daniela, and Kiray Celis.
