Alden Richards returns to primetime, more star-studded line-up of programs await Kapuso viewers abroad this July!

GMA Network, through international channels GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV, welcomes the second half of the year with a star-studded lineup of shows for the Kapuso abroad this July!

Kicking off this month’s programming is the much-awaited drama “The World Between Us” bannered by no less than Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards, award-winning actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and multi-talented actor Tom Rodriguez, on its world premiere this July 5 on GMA Pinoy TV.

A story about love, revenge, and family, this series delves into the character of Louie (Alden), an orphan boy adopted by Rachael (Dina Bonnevie). While Louie rebuilds a family, his stepsister Lia (Jasmine) and stepbrother (Tom) decide to give him a cold shoulder. Yet, while growing up, he develops affection for Lia that slowly turns into romantic love. What could be keeping them apart?

Meanwhile, a star will land on the Kapuso flagship international channel this July 18 as it airs Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala: The Film Concert.” The Popstar Royalty’s digital concert presents a different kind of musical experience that GMA Pinoy TV viewers should definitely not miss! 

Catch on July 21 the prequel of the well-loved sitcom dubbed, “Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kuwento” led by Sef Cadayona and Mikee Quintos, who will play the younger versions of Pepito (Michael V) and Elsa (Manilyn Reynes), respectively. They will also be joined by new Kapuso artists Pokwang and Kokoy de Santos, together with Gladys Reyes, Archie Alemania, Denise Barbacena, Kristoffer Martin, Jay Arcilla, and EA Guzman.

On July 26, GMA Pinoy TV is set to debut the breakthrough drama series “Legal Wives,” top billed by the Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo as Ismael, a Mranaw Muslim royalty who has three wives portrayed by talented actresses Alice Dixson, Bianca Umali, and Andrea Torres.

Also launching on July 26 is Stories from the Heart—a series that features two unusual love stories and how social media affects the relationship of the two people involved. Its first installment “Never Say Goodbye” is led by Jak Roberto, Klea Pineda, and Lauren Young.

In addition to these exciting new programs, viewers from all over the world can continue watching their well-loved Kapuso programs such as “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” “24 Oras,” “Eat Bulaga,” “Wowowin,” “All-Out Sundays,” “Tadhana,” as well as original GMA Pinoy TV Content “Global Pinoy Unlimited,” “Becoming Pinoy,” “Pinoy A+”, and co-production “Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika.”

GMA Life TV gives a vibrant mix of fun and drama for the Kapuso abroad this July with FLEX (July 5) and The Stepdaughters (July 26).

FLEX is a comedy-gag-variety show headlined by some of the Kapuso Network’s most promising young stars: Mavy Legaspi, Lexi Gonzales, Joaquin Domagoso, and Althea Ablan. It will feature Gen Z artists each week who will do musical performances, gags, sketches, and talent competitions. Fans will also get the chance to interact with their favorite stars by joining the FLEX Squad Facebook group.

The Stepdaughters, starring Megan Young and Katrina Halili, is about two beautiful and intelligent women with different personalities. The competition will heat up between them as they become stepsisters because of their parents’ marriage.

Every weekend on GMA Life TV, Drew Arellano’s “Biyahe Ni Drew” and Kara David’s  “Pinas Sarap” will bring the Kapuso abroad to different Philippine destinations and showcase delectable Pinoy dishes with the Staycation Weekend Specials: New Normal Food and Travel Hits. 

Catch back-to-back episodes of Biyahe ni Drew’s “Exploring Silang and Amadeo Cavite” and Pinas Sarap’s “Plant-Based Snacks” on July 3; “Rediscovering Cebu” and “Leftover Makeover” on July 10; “Beach Goals sa San Juan Batangas” and “Rabbit Dishes” on July 17; “Maragondon Cavite” and “Throwback Snacks” on July 24; and finally, “Nasugbu, Batangas” and “Donut Varieties” on July 31.

Further satisfying the Kapuso abroad’s cravings for gastronomic adventures, stay tuned for “KMJS: Flavors of the Philippines” — a series of interstitials featuring the best ‘Filipino food’ segments of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho which is also set to launch this July on GMA Life TV.  

Meanwhile, on GMA News TV, Pinoy pride will take centerstage with I Juander Specials: Pinoy’s Best every Sunday beginning July 4 with “Tatak Pinoy”, “Juanderful Beaches ng Pinas,” “Pinoy Inventions,” and “Pinoy Culture.”
