■Priority Preventative Measures to Stop the Spread of COVID-19

– Area:    All of Tokyo

– Details:   During the implementation period, requests are being made to the people and businesses of Tokyo to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

 

Requests to the people of Tokyo for cooperation

l Refrain from nonessential outings and avoid places and times that are crowded.

l Refrain from nonessential movement to other prefectures.

l Firmly take basic precautions against infection such as avoiding the “three Cs” (closed spaces, crowded places, close range conversation), maintaining social distancing, wearing a mask, and keeping hands clean (frequent hand washing, etc.).

l If you are worried that you may have been infected, please get tested.

l Make use of online meetings and remote work.

Requests to restaurants, etc.

Requests vary depending on whether the establishment is certified or not. Certified establishments (restaurants, bars, etc.) display a blue COVID-19 safety sticker showing that they have passed the inspection for thorough implementation of infection prevention measures (part of the Thorough Inspection Tokyo Support Project).

Request concerning restrictions on the holding of events

Of the following capacity rate or maximum number of people, whichever results in a fewer number of people applies for the holding of events.

(*1)With loud vocalization: Events where spectators, etc., are encouraged to actively engage in repeated and continuous loud vocalization and events where required measures are not fully implemented

・Events with loud vocalization: Ensure ample distance between people (minimum of 1 meter, 2 meters if possible)

・Events with no loud vocalization: Ensure there is enough space so that people do not come into direct contact with each other.

Response by Tokyo metropolitan facilities

l Metropolitan zoos, gardens, and other metropolitan facilities currently closed will continue to be closed.

l Sports facilities, etc., that are currently operating will close by 9 p.m. (excludes theater and hall performances, etc.)
