Philippine Embassy Serves Filipino Communities in Okinawa, Nagano

As part of its mandate to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo conducted its one-day consular outreach missions in Nagano on November 2 and in Okinawa on November 9.

Okinawa is located 2,136 km. from Tokyo and is home to 2,107 Filipinos. While Nagano is located 220 km. from Tokyo and is home to 4,653 Filipinos.

The 6-member consular outreach team in Okinawa processed 168 passports, 25 notarial and civil registration, 7 miscellaneous and 10 other consular services. While the 5-member consular outreach team in Nagano processed 74 passports and 10 notarial services.
