PAL to New York and Paris

The Philippines’ flagship carrier, Philippine Airlines (PAL), is planning non-stop flights to Paris, New York, Milan, London and Toronto, its president Ramon S. Ang said.  No details were yet available on when the country’s flagship carrier will begin its planned flights to the 3 European cities and New York.  PAL currently flies to North America, namely San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Honolulu in the US and Toronto in Canada.  PAL does not have any flights to Europe.

However, PAL’s expansion plans may be hampered since the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) classified the Philippines as a Category 2 nation. This means PAL cannot increase its flights to the US or change aircraft types.-(ABS CBN News)
