The Presentation and Pictorial dubbed as the “Social Media Event of Miss & Mr. Thai Philippines in Japan 2014” was held at the Bagus Place located in Ginza Tokyo, last November 30. This marks the 10th year that LIFE SUPPORT COM with the help of Softbank Telecom have organized this prestigious pageant. The aim of the pageant is to promote the exchange in culture between the Filipinos, Thai and Japanese living here in Japan. It also aims to develop the personal attributes of each participants that will help them in their future endeavors. In doing so, the pageant promotes active participation of young people into organized activities thus bringing good opportunity to share a strong relationship among other countries, namely Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.

The event was hosted by Mr.Yoshitake Nagaoka (Gyoseishoshi) Immigration Lawyer which was held separate events for the “Little Ms. & Mr.” participants from the Miss & Mister Thai – Philippines in Japan participants. The event kicked off with an opening remark from Ms. Koyanagi the CEO of LIFESUPPORT COM followed by an encouraging speech by our very own Labor Attaché Mr. Clifford Paragua. A short speech was also provided by Ms. Juliet De Vera Life Support Com representative about the mechanics and procedures of the contest.

Each contestant had the opportunity to goon stage to strut their stuff as accompanied by Ms. Nathasia Camel Tagle (Miss Philippines 2013 and Ms. Abe (Miss Foreigner 2011) It was a delight as the contestant got first hand tips and pointers on how to walk on the stage from previous participants and eventual winners. One by one all the contestants introduced themselves on stage – a short preparation for the big event coming on June 2014 wherein they will be in front of hundreds of live audiences.

The event was also graced by Ms. Noosi Sirirat Rueangsri former Ms. Thailand 2009 who gave an inspirational message to next year’s participants. She also gave special pointers for the lady participants and ended with a quote: “ The Beauty, that money can’t buy”.
