CARP Implementation, farmers assured

President Aquino assured the farmers that his government is committed to implement the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP). He is committed to completing it as envisioned by CARP law.  The President instructed  Virgilio delos Reyes, Agrarian Reform Secretary, to make sure that the full implementation of CARP will be given before the law is set to expire on June 2014.

“Ang instruction ko sa kanya (Delos Reyes) kailangan makumpleto lahat ito within the time allotted to us because it will be very difficult to get further extension. And he has been focused on that,” President Aquino said. –(Journal Online)
