Philippine Embassy in Tokyo joins many Filipinos in honoring and remembering our great National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal in a wreath laying ceremony held at the Embassy chancery in Tokyo on 30 December 2014.

Seen in attendance were Charge d’Affaires ad interim Marian Jocelyn Tirol-Ignacio together with embassy officials and personnel.

The ceremony started by singing the Philippine Hymn and offering of flowers to the national hero’s bronze bust sculpture.

Minister and Consul General Ignacio gave grateful recognition to Gat Rizal’s vision of the Filipino that gave birth to the nation.

Abundance of Filipino food was shared after the ceremony.
