Winter stuff that stay warm

The oceanic and atmospheric conditions indicated the appearance of La Niña conditions is moving closer. La Niña is a natural cooling of parts of the Pacific that brings significant changes in global weather that generally brings hotter than normal temperatures to Japan during the summer months, was initially thought likely to develop before summer. However, much to relief of cities on the eastern seaboard, the forecast has been revised back to autumn.

The remnants of El Niño and the coming of La Niña, the cold phase of tropical Pacific Ocean surface temperatures, are occurring faster than it appears. La Niña phenomenon would last through the winter months December to February as per Japan’s weather bureau. La Niña can be unpredictable, there is still 40% chance that it would return to normal conditions during the winter.

During these freezing weather days ahead, there is still a way where we can be fashionable but coping up with the weather by being warm. However, the younger generations are always dressing to impress, regardless of where they are heading, they are literally wearing their summer clothing! But upon researching, you can keep yourself warm but still be fashionable.

Here are some things to wear during these freezing weather and yet be fashionable:

Leg warmers – These items are sometimes neglected but it is helpful to keep your legs warm during winter. Walking without leg protection during extreme cold weather will not only affect your body or leg muscles but is also not good for your joints.

Microfiber blanket – It is like a snuggie that you can wear inside the comfort of your home not minding the cold weather as it is made of microfiber that obstructs cold air from outside and keep your body temperature.

USB heated slippers – Invented in Japan and its goal is to keep anybody’s feet warm while working in front of the computer or just simply browsing the net. It is easy to use, just connect the wire to your computer using a USB cable, following instructions from the manual and voila! It’s good to go.

Belly band – An undergarment tube-shaped piece of cloth, like the lower body of a t-shirt, that is worn around the stomach comfortably preventing drafts around the waistline. The fabric is thin enough to be worn beneath your daily clothes, but cam provide additional warmth to your body.

Brushed back tights or leggings – Skirts and dresses in Japan stay short year all around, but there are places where you can buy the kind of tights that keeps you cozy and warm. The leggings are not only to make your legs look slender but also keeps them warm.

Undershirt ColdGear – For men & women winter clothing long sleeve undershirt, it keeping athletes warm, without weighing them down and keep your body temperature consistent in any condition.

Whether indoors or outdoors, just make sure you use them properly and with caution. There are heating gadgets that can be hazardous as well when you leave them unattended. Stay warm!
