Sakura Festival 2017

Sakura Festival or Hanami is one of the traditions in Japan wherein Japanese enjoys the blossoming beauty of flowers, and in this case, they are referring to those of cherry trees. cherry trees of Sakura are most visible from the end of march till early month of May. it does not only bloom in one place but all over Japan. In modern-day, Japanese celebrate the blossoming season via outdoor parties underneath the Sakura tree.

The hanami celebrations usually involve eating and drinking, and playing and listening to music. In most large cities like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, the cherry blossom season normally takes place around the end of March and the beginning of April. There are different guided tours that you can choose from when viewing the Cherry Blossoms in different parts of Japan.

TOKYO: SUMIDA PARK

The Sumidagawa River is most cherry blossom
viewing right now. You can enjoy the contrast between the blossoms along the riverbank and the towering Tokyo Sky Tree. And also you can enjoyed boating, cruising and food stands available around the corner.

KANAZAWA: KENROKUEN

Kanazawa is one of important city in its region and serves also as the capital of Ishikawa Prefecture. Kenrokuen is located in Kanazawa Prefecture, one of Japan’s three most beautiful landscape garden. Kenrokuen have lots of variety of flowering trees which provide the garden with a different look for each season.

The iconic bridge and also the most recognizable landmark of Takayama Gifu Prefecture. A popular tourist destination, because of the central area which retains a lovely old town atmosphere. The peak season for cherry blossom is usually on the early April, but still at this moment no forecast yet.
