Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose C. Laurel V Pays Courtesy Call on LDP VP Komura

Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose C. Laurel V paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Masahiko Komura, Vice President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Member of the House of Representatives (Yamaguchi Prefecture, 1st District), at the LDP Headquarters in Chiyoda in central Tokyo on June 22. Both sides pledged their cooperation toward the further advancement of bilateral ties. Komura accompanied the Emperor and Empress on their historic State Visit to the Philippines on June 26-30, 2016 and was the driving force behind the installation of the Memorial to President Elpidio Quirino at Hibiya Park on June 18.
