The 3rd Kapihan at Talakayan sa Kansai

The Philippine Community Coordinating Council (PCCC) will be holding the third Kapihan at Talakayan sa Kansai on March 9, 2019 (Saturday) from 3pm to 6pm at the Osaka International House in Osaka city. This year’s panel speakers include a Filipina medical doctor, Dr Jovelle L. Fernandez, who is occupying a high position at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company; a labor union leader, Masaki Laborte, who is serving non-regular workers; and a university student, Keith Micah Rillon, who has been helping young Filipinos to learn baseball in the Philippines.

The third Kapihan has the same objective as in past Kapihans of helping raise the image of the Filipinos in Kansai by reintroducing them to the Japanese as well as to fellow Filipinos.
